Errrmmm............. I think I fail on all of those. Ooops.
You mean you don't wear lipstick when sewing? How can you live with yourself? :)
I always find it fascinating to get a glimpse of the mindset of women in the past. There's actually something sweet about way this seamstress relishes her creative time behind the sewing machine. It's obvious that this is a way she 'gave' to herself. And it's not so different than how I feel about my creative projects or my reading. Although the dressing up part is definitely passé. At least in my world hahahaha
JK Rowling, when asked how she found time to write, replied something like 'I didn't do housework for two years'. Now that's my kind of thinking!
Hi Andie, I had to smile at your comment on Going Gently today. I thought as a fellow sufferer I should come over and say hi. It's not that he doesn't have stuff to do, it's the fact I have to plan his day-every day.
Thanks for calling in. He's used to being the boss in the workplace. It's going down a treat so far at home!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Put on a clean dress"?I need to wear a dress to sew?May explain while thus far I have been no good at it.
Still no good at proof reading either, apparently. Delete while and insert why.
I'd be really pleased to hear from you.
